Financial Aid

Tuition Assistance Process

Westchester Day School is committed to making its Financial Aid Program available to all families who seek a WDS education for their children. This has been one of the core values of our institution since it was founded in 1948, and it remains a priority today. To that goal, WDS encourages any family to apply for financial aid who feels cost is a significant barrier to their child's being able to attend our school.

The Financial Aid Program is overseen by the WDS Scholarship Committee. All applications and financial information are handled confidentially. WDS does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national or ethnic origin in administration of its financial aid program. The process for applying for financial aid consists of completing an online application form through FACTS and a brief WDS Financial Aid Application.  You must also submit the required documentation, including copies of your W-2s and current filed Federal and State tax returns. Tuition information will be forthcoming, at which point the application will be available on this page.

Financial aid is granted on an annual basis, for the coming academic year only. All families wishing to be considered for financial aid must complete a new application each year so that our Scholarship Committee may evaluate their financial aid award(s) on the basis of their most current financial picture.

We know the financial aid process can be a stressful one, and we strive to make it as accessible and user-friendly as possible. Please contact Rachel Goldman, WDS Executive Director, at (914) 698-8900 ext. 108 or  at any time with your questions regarding the financial aid process.
