WSD Private Tennis, Hockey, and Basketball Lessons

Westchester Summer Day (WSD) offers an unmatched summer experience where children have fun, learn and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. Our highly trained and caring staff includes teachers, sports and art specialists, lifeguards and a full-time nurse. Our professional staff work together to ensure that each child is happy all summer long. WSD promotes Jewish values and engages children in a host of fun activities within the framework of the modern orthodox tradition.

WSD 2022: Private Tennis, Hockey and Basket

Afternoon Private Tennis, Hockey and Basketball Lessons

WSD is happy to provide an opportunity for private tennis, hockey and basketball lessons for children entering first grade and older.  

  • Half hour lessons start at 4pm.
  • All children will be escorted to the tennis, hockey and basketball courts by their group leader or assistant for their lesson.
  • There is no afternoon busing for children signing up for afternoon tennis, hockey and basketball lessons.
  • In the event of rain, the lesson will be held in the gym.
  • Children need to be picked up at 4:30pm at the tennis, hockey or basketball courts.
  • Lessons are $45 per session. A link for payment will be sent when lessons are confirmed by WSD Sports Director Howie Falkenstein. Refunds will be made only for lessons cancelled by WSD due to inclement weather or unavailability of the instructor.
  • Registration is on a first come, first served basis with priority given to children registered for all the remaining weeks of the summer.
