Like most independent schools, tuition does not cover the full cost of a WDS education. WDS also provides more than $1.5 million annually in tuition assistance, ensuring that families who value Jewish learning, academic excellence, and community can access a WDS education regardless of financial circumstance.
Leadership Giving helps close this gap and strengthens every part of school life, from attracting and retaining outstanding faculty, to enriching academic and Jewish learning, to enhancing student programs, maintaining our facilities, and responding thoughtfully to opportunities and challenges as they arise throughout the year.
Leadership Giving Circle families give WDS more than dollars. A commitment made early in the year allows the school to plan and budget responsibly, provide extraordinary opportunities for our children, and ensures that the leadership of the school can always act in the best interest of our students while nimbly responding to new opportunities and challenges.
Your Leadership Giving Circle commitment can also be directed toward the area that matters most to your family: scholarship access, campus and facilities, student experiences and Israel programming, or faculty and program development, so your support reflects not only what WDS needs, but what you and your family care about most.

Leadership Giving Circle families are recognized at their giving level throughout the year, in our Annual Dinner materials, our Shavuot Appeal, and our upcoming Annual Impact Report. As part of your Leadership Giving Circle commitment, we hope you’ll join us at the WDS Annual Dinner, a mid-year Leadership Event, and dinner at the Summer Outing. And of course, families who prefer to remain anonymous are always honored in that choice.
