The Laurie Lebowitz Learning to Look Fund

Learning to Look is WDS's K-5 art appreciation program, where parent volunteers guide students through the collections of The Met and MoMA, exploring the Elements of Art and creating their own inspired work. Established in 2023, the fund honors the memory of a beloved WDS parent volunteer, Laurie Lebowitz z"l, who chaired the program from 2006 to 2014, and it sustains museum trips and classroom instruction today.
