WDS Marks the 100th Day of School

The beginning of this month marked the 100th day of school!

Our early elementary grades celebrated the 100th day of school with a variety of math, literacy and teamwork activities. Our kindergarteners enjoyed a surprise 100-duck scavenger hunt and pattern-making project, while first graders competed for the sturdiest 100-cup tower, and second graders contemplated old age with their writing piece “When I am 100 Years Old.”

Students even enjoyed a visit from WDS grandparent "Bubbe Jane," pretending to be a centenarian to talk about the “olden days.”
