WDS Students Get Cozy with Books and Hot Cocoa

Westchester Day School’s Lower School division recently launched a new monthly Rosh Chodesh Reading Club! Each Rosh Chodesh, our second through fourth grade students gather together to enjoy books selected from a rolling library, which includes both English and Hebrew literature.

With the weather turning chillier, this wonderful time cozying up with good books is made complete with cups of hot cocoa and cookies. As the year progresses, students will have opportunities to write book reviews and form book clubs. Students are loving this fun, multi-age reading forum!
