WDS Welcomes Wounded IDF Soldier Delegation

WDS’s middle school was thrilled to welcome an El Ami delegation this month. The El-Ami “Together for Them” project seeks to strengthen connections to our homeland, as well as communicate our values of gratitude, mutual responsibility, and a belief in the ability to overcome obstacles. 

Middle schoolers heard from four heroic, wounded IDF veterans. These brave chayalim shared their stories, as well as their ongoing struggles to succeed despite their injuries. The stories were awe-inspiring, and true reflections of leadership, resourcefulness, optimism, and Zionism.
