Open Minds:  At WDS we ignite a passion for Torah and secular learning. Our curricular choices and pedagogic approaches are guided by research-based teaching strategies and designed to foster a lifelong sense of curiosity and wonder. Teachers, students and parents partner to create a supportive learning community and to learn the needed tools and skills through self-exploration and collaborative problem-solving.

Open Hearts:  In its focus on menschlichkeit, WDS incorporates the social, emotional and spiritual growth of each of its students. Through formal, informal and experiential education, students internalize values such as mitzvah, respect, diligence, resilience, self-esteem, integrity, empathy, responsibility, obligation, leadership, team-work, resourcefulness and much more. These are not only taught by our teachers, but they are also modeled by them throughout the school day.

Open Arms:  WDS students are sensitized to the needs of others and opportunities and methods to help. They appreciate the power of a community and the responsibility to be active participants in impacting their local area, the State of Israel and its citizens and the entirety of the Jewish People.
