WDS Celebrates Hebrew Language Day

The WDS Lower School was thrilled to celebrate Hebrew Language Day, with Israeli-themed stations created by our talented second grade Judaic Studies teacher, Morah Adi.

Our second through fourth graders eagerly explored Israeli inventions, fished for Hebrew letters, made Israeli salads, and more!

Hebrew Language Day is celebrated each year on the birthday of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda, “reviver” of Hebrew as a spoken language.

Through these special activities, WDS students were able to appreciate the rich history behind their daily Ivrit studies.
