WSD Buddy Request Form
Westchester Summer Day (WSD) offers an unmatched summer experience where children have fun, learn and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. Our highly trained and caring staff includes teachers, sports and art specialists, lifeguards and a full-time nurse. Our professional staff work together to ensure that each child is happy all summer long. WSD promotes Jewish values and engages children in a host of fun activities within the framework of the modern orthodox tradition.

If you would like to request that your child be placed in a group with a friend, please complete this form. We know how enjoyable it is to spend the summer with a buddy, however we also believe strongly in mixing children from different schools within the same group.
You may request buddy placement if the following criteria are met:

You may request buddy placement if the following criteria are met:
1. For children entering kindergarten and up, the friend must be the same sex and entering the same grade.
2. As our nursery groups are coed, buddy requests maybe for a child of the opposite sex.
Please note:
WSD does not guarantee that all buddy requests can be met.
You may request that your child NOT be placed with a particular child and we will consider the feasibility of separate grouping.
The directors make the ultimate decision as to group placement of all children and will make necessary changes at any point during the season when such change facilitates more positive group harmony.
